Welcome from the Director
Welcome to Emmanuel Episcopal Day School. Our day school was established in 1985 in West Memorial. We pride ourselves on our intimate setting and low ratios. We are licensed for 50 children, and have four classrooms with children aged 18 months through Pre-kindergarten. I welcome and encourage you to visit our school for a tour of our accredited, high quality early childhood program. In our program you and your child will experience:
- Frequent, positive, warm interactions among teachers and children
- Planned learning activities appropriate to children’s age and development with many varied age-appropriate materials
- Respect for cultural diversity
- Age appropriate chapel services twice weekly
- A healthy safe and inclusive environment for children
- Regular, two-way communication with families who are welcome visitors at all times
- Specially trained teachers and Director who partake in ongoing professional development
- Effective administration with ongoing, systematic evaluations of the program
