YOUTH AND FAMILY NEWS

We had a great mission trip at the beginning of August. We ended up working in Texas City at a warehouse, cleaning it out, painting the outside, and tearing town walls to get it ready to store food for an organization called “Gleaning for the Harvest”, which distributes food to the underprivileged. They had a much smaller space and will be able to serve many more people in their new facility. It isn’t done yet, but we got a lot accomplished, clearing out a huge amount of debris.
This fall, We’re going to have a program dealing with the morals and ethics of our Christian life, addressing how our faith affects the decisions we make. We’re also looking at continuing and expanding our workdays within the parish, helping folks with jobs around the house...more on this to come! God bless, Brad.
