CANTORS GUILD

Carrying on the church’s rich plainsong traditions, trained adult singers are chosen by our choir director and rector to chant Psalms for our 11:15 a.m. Sunday services and other special music throughout the church year.

11:15 EMMANUEL CHOIR

Adults and upper level high school and college students form a robed choir that leads congregation song and praises God with special music from the vast repertoire of Church music.

This choir also presents special Vesper services
or concerts, occasionally with added instruments, from time to time.

Rehearsals:
Thursday from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.
Sundays: 10:30 a.m.

9:00 a.m. MUSIC TEAM

This great group of singers and instrumentalists leads sung worship for 9:00 a.m. Sunday Eucharist.
9:00 a.m. music is “blended” in style and includes many different kinds of church music.
This group is open to families and singers of all ages; Instrumentalists are chosen by audition.

Rehearsals:
every other Friday evening: 7:30 – 9:00 p.m.
Sunday morning: 8:40 a.m.

CHILDREN’S CHOIR

About four times each year, children are invited to present special music at the 9:00 a.m. Service.
Rehearsals are held at 8:00 a.m. in Russell Hall four weeks prior to each presentation. Children’s Choir usually sings for Passion Sunday, around Pentecost, in early Fall, and for the early Christmas Eve service.
