| Acolytes - Contact Reverend Brad Sullivan Altar Guild - Contact Derrith Wieman Bereavement Ministry- This ministry offers receptions after funerals held at Emmanuel. Blood Drive- Volunteers from the parish
are asked to donate blood twice a year when a unit from St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital
holds a drive on Sunday mornings. Coffee Hour Hosts- Volunteers provide and serve light refreshments
to the congregation following the 9:00 AM or 11:15 AM service on Sundays.
Community of Hope- This group equips lay persons to commit to regular pastoral care ministry as Lay Chaplains. If you have a pastoral need and could be served by our Lay Chaplains within the parish. Daughters of the King- The DOK is a group of women who have adopted a rule of life which includes service and prayer. The chapter at Emmanuel, known as the Mary, Mother of Emmanuel Chapter, is part of the national organization of the Order of the Daughters of the King. The primary ministry of the DOK is prayer for the needs of individuals. Emmanuel in the Woods - Contact Felecia May Endowment - Contact Brannon Mensing 50+ Trekkers - Contact Carolyn Cheatham and Dana Burch Finance Committee - Contact Ed Rogers, Tony May Flower Friends- This ministry delivers the flowers from the altar primarily to the sick of the parish and residents of local nursing homes. Flower Guild - Contact Marguerite Epperhart Good Shepherd Program - This group provides care to church members by parishioners in a "neighbor helping neighber" manner. Long Range Planning - Contact Steve Couch MOMS Group - Mothers of Preschoolers meet the first Thursday of each month during the school year from 9:30 to 1 1:OOAM. The group provides mothers with a place to share the joys and challenges involved in raising young children. Childcare is provided. Nursery~ Under the supervision of Lynne Williams, our nursery
provides care for the youngest members of our parish from infant through
age five. The nursery normally begins operations at 8:30 AM Sunday
mornings and is available during other church services and activities as requested. If you require
nursery care while attending church functions, please contact the
church office. Outreach- a full description is listed on the Outreach Webpage. Contact Gill Keyworth Property Commission - Contact: Frank Richardson Social Life Committee This group sponsors social events aimed at developing a sense of community among the membership as well as the Sunday coffee hour and special social functions following the Sunday liturgies. Contact: John Beck Special Projects Committee- This committee organizes various fund raising events including the Epicurean evening and silent auction, rummage sale, Book Sale, and Bazaar. Contact: Warren Hussey Stewardship Committee - This committee organizes the annual stewardship campaign and promotes ongoing stewardship in the parish. 12-Step Programs - Meetings are held weekday mornings and evenings for
various 12-step programs. Usher Guild- Under the direction of the Usher Guild, ushering
services are provided for all services and other activities which
require such assistance. Wedding Guild- Under the direction of the Wedding Guild, all
arrangements are made to coordinate wedding's and other festivities
at Emmanuel. Young Adult Program- This program is designed for those 19-30 years of age. The purpose is to provide an opportunity for those between post high school and post college years to come together and share with others all the unique challenges and decisions that are part of this special stage of life. The goal of the program is to develop close bonds, friendships, and to share and learn in ways that will help lay a solid foundation for a successful life based on Christian principles
